Creating La Maison du Whisky in 1956, at a time when whisky was almost non-existent in France, George Bénitah was one of the first people to import Scottish malts to France. This pioneering role enabled La Maison du Whisky to support the growth of the single malt category in France and become a key trendsetter in the world of whisky.
